HI,JOHN- THANKS FOR THAT LOOK-UP ON THE OBIT. AS A WAY TO CONTRIBUTE
TO THE EASTERN WEBSITES ON WHICH I POST [ WELL,SOME OF THEM ]. I SCAN
THE DAILY OBITS HERE IN THE LOCAL PAPER AND FORWARD THESE TO THOSE
SITES. I usually do not know the deceased at all, nor the family.
However-back in the deceased person's hometown--an acquaintance may
pick up on this news ,whereas -otherwise they mught never hear--or
much delayed,
I was a military wife and -over the years-did not
hear death-news of a childhood friend, school acquaintance, or old
neighbor for years sometimes. Guess I am sensitive about that. I have
always wanted to take the Cortland Standard from Cortland Co.,NYS
over the years. But-my budget would not allow for that. Charlotte

In the California Birth Records ... there is a RICHARD CHARLES LANG
born on 01 Jul 1950 in Ventura Co, CA and a ROBERT CRAIG LANG born on
17 Nov 1952 in Ventura County, CA ... these are the only two male
children born in Ventura with the names Richard and Robert with the
same mother's maiden name ... and that mother's maiden name was
BECKER ... Hope that helps ...
