Due to intermarriages I'd run across Teed/Tidd descendants from John that came from Westchester Co through Delaware Co, but all I could mention are generalities for your Catherine born NY during the Revolution. Some not all Teeds were Loyalists, ran to Canada. So all they'd have had to do also is slip into an Ohio port, in any case whether loyalist or not. Great lakes shipping was well developed by the time of our Revolution.

I see on 1850 census, Samuel b 1822 OH so they were there by then. Did Henry Huyck have an 1812-14 war record? BTW there was an older 45+ Henry Huyck at Middletown, Delaware Co on 1800, and men usually marry their wives where the wife is.
