I can't testify that this is a "common" migration path; but my ancestor,
Itheul Persons (Pearson) was born in Wilmington, Middlesex, MA in 1784 and
he and his wife, Sally Thompson came to Delaware County from Lyndborough, NH
between 1810 and 1820 and settled in Davenport.

Message Board Post:

I'm wondering what are some of the common migration paths to Delaware County
in the late 1700s, early 1800s. I know that a lot of early settlers came
from New Canaan, Fairfield County, CT. I would like to know if there were
typical MA migrations.
