pp. 50-51: The Nine Partners grant in 1697 covered the eastern part of Hyde
Park, most of Clinton and Stanford, all of Pleasant Valley, Washington, and
Amenia, and the south part of Northeast, except for the Oblong portions then
in Connecticut.

p. 58: On 16 December 1737, the legislature divided Nine Partners into seven
precincts. Crum Elbow precinct included Hyde Park and Lower Nine Partners.
