I have been searching long and hard for a connection to my
WOODIN and am encouraged by your posting. I have Gx2 Grandmother Rebecca
SMITH (nee WOODIN) b.05/03/1821 in Seneca, Waterloo, NY. The information
I have of her ancestors is limited, but I know to be accurate sourced from
a family biography. She is the daughter of Robert WOODIN who was born in
England and Mary MOLINE who was born in Ireland. Rebecca married Wm.W.
SMITH (b.06/18/1815 in Leicester, England)on 01/10/1843 in Geneva, Ontario,
NY. Rebecca and Wm.W. had eight children and were prominent pioneer settlers
of Burns Twp, Shiawassee Co., MI.
