Looking for parents of Peter Y. Helms supposedly born at Poughkeepsie NY
16 Sept 1781. Married Eunice Palmer at New Lebanon, NY in 1810. Lived early
years of marriage at Kenox, MA and served in War of 1812 from MA. Migrated
to Orleans Co. NY c1830 and died there 19 Dec. 1846.
