I am surprised by the similarity of names. My GGrandfather, Albert L. Millard,
b. 1833/34, Ogdensburg, NY. He was son of Eleazer B. Millard and "Betsey"
(probably Elizabeth).. His siblings according to the 1850 NY census for
St. Lawrence County, were David (1832), Robert (1842) and Charles (1845).
With such name similarity, they must have been related. Don't know much
about the siblings, but apparently Charles went to WI. My GGrandfather
came west to CO in 1872, with his family and was a mortician - believed
to be the family occupation (cabinet makers/morticians) for three generations.
