Surname: Ollivett
-------------------------

Am interested in your line of research because I have an Irving Throne
Ollivett born 03/08/1863 in Millbrook, Dutchess Cnty, NY, son of Charles
C. & Hannan Ellis Smith Ollivett. Since I am still missing a generation
or two of my Ollivetts I can not figure out where the Thorne middle name
came from. Irving passed it on to his son Edwin Throne Ollivet.
Irving was the son of Dorman & Phebe P. Barnard Ollivett who are bruied
in the Hicksite Friends Vurial Grounds in Duchess and Dorman was the son
of Amos Olivet born )in Amenian) and Lana DeLana DeLavernge, still no Thorne!
I am wondering if Johnathan R. Ollivett, born in Canada is Amos's father
or there is another missing link that was married to a Thorne. Johnanthan
is the Only Ollivett I have born in Canada, the others were born in Dutchess,
Rhode Island and France and married English cousins.
This only adds to your confusion and mine, but maybe will help you find
your Thorne line.
Diane
