Census of 1790, Northeast Town, Dutchess Co. has a Caleb Woodward (1,
3, 4) next door to my ancestor Jonathan CANFIELD, whose wife was Sarah
WOODWORTH. I have always wondered if this was coincidence or some
relative with a variant spelling of the name.

This is no help, I realize, but possibly a clue.
