Marcus Hedden was in Fredericktown, present Putnam Co., NY in 1790. There are no early records for him in Nine Partners, that I can find. For a sketch of the Hedden family in Dutchess see vol. VI of The Settlers of the Beekman Patent. <www.beekmansettlers.com>
