You have two names that also figure prominently in my own research: DOUGLASS and LAMBERTSON.

My great-grandfather was Samuel Milton LAMBERTSON, born 1872 in Black Hawk Co., IA. He m. Ruth Jane DOUGLASS, b. 1875 in IA, county unknown. Neither of them ever lived in New York but I wondered if your Lillian Francis DOUGLASS LAMBERTSON might have been from Iowa?

It's probably just a coincidence but I thought it worth following up on.
