Well Terre, I think you should write to Michael Murphy, Dutchess County
Commissioner of Public Works, County Office Building, 22 Market Street,
Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 - According to the 2003 County Directory that is
his address and Toll Free Number for Michael Murphy is 866-694-4900 in
case you want to call but I think a letter would be better so you have a
paper trail.
Public Works is in charge of the County Owned Site on which the cemetery
is located.

Matters in regard to the cemetery and the records appear to be gaining
momentum now - THANK YOU - I know you are standing ready to help and I
will let you know when to be ready to roll up your sleeves. Thanks
Again and I am so pleased that after 3 years - WE FOUND HIM! Hooray for
your Grandfather - without him this entire story would not have been
told! It pays to be persistent!

Hey everyone
Hope you all are enjoying the summer! Ginny, I went on line tonight,
(summer residence on a small island off CT) and saw part 2 ot the
article...............Way to go!!!! I sent a letter to Anthony,
thanking
him, and letting him know that I received info from the DCHS
(Dutches County Historical Society) on the plot number for my
grandfather...........so it looks like she has the book my gf was
in...........I am here when you need me, will come up to help
in any way.......I would like to put some kind of marker for him,
that is my next step......do you know or any one else out there,
know who I should write too?
