I have been monitoring the e-mails about Silas MEAD and now this reply that
includes the surname GRIFFIN.

I have an Abner MEAD who was supposedly born ca 1747 in Dutchess Co., NY.
Researchers have been trying to document his parents for years. He is
supposedly
a son of "an" Amos MEAD. Abner married Mercy HAZEN daughter of Caleb and
Sarah (HAMLIN) HAZEN of the Carmel, Putnam Co., NY area. If anyone on this
list might have info on his line, I would love to hear from you.

Also, Joan mentions the GRIFFIN family. I have been researching the John
WHITE
family of Dutchess Co, (ca 1750+) who had daughter, Charlotte WHITE, who
married
Ezekiel Griffin, about 1800. Would you have any info regarding that line.
Ezekiel and Charlotte lived in Fishkill before moving to Delaware Co., NY,
ca 1830.
