Phil,
Have sort of played around the edges with Quaker research, but felt like I
needed to have a more definitive answer as to Elizabeth
Travis/Traves/Traver/Travers last name --Her brother signed on Nathan's
pension as Isaac TravIs, (I have my own copy which I made from microfilm in
DC, after having one which had graciously been sent to me but was even more
difficult to read!)which is what I have always thought was probably
correct(unless he changed later ???), several other documents have other
variations...so not my favorite line to track down at this point!! It seem
that the Cutlers were not the Quakers, but that Elizabeth's were
likely...but then, based on the little bit of "documentation" that I have,
anything is possible! Really appreciate your comments! I have put these
folks "away" several times in the past couple years!! Of course my dream is
that one day I will see the line appear, fully documented by someone who has
stumbled on an old diary or ledger!! Ha. Thanks again.
Suzanne

Suzanne,
Just a thought, but have you pusued Quaker Archieves, if one exists?
I have found a wealth of information from Methodist Archives on several
of my ancestors.
