Subject: Hudson-Fulton Celebration Anniversary on the Horizon 2009 - A Peek ata 2010 Anniversary

I thought that as we approach the 100th Anniversary of the Hudson-Fulton
Celebration which took place in 1909, some of you might be interested in
reading a couple articles about the Celebration in Poughkeepsie.

the Half Moon - Built in Holland and Given to the Hudson-Fulton Commission
for the Celebration.

The 1909 Hudson-Fulton Celebration Commemorated the 300th Anniversary of
Henry Hudson's travels up the Hudson River and the 100th Anniversary of
Robert Fulton's Clermont on a similar journey.

2009 will mark the 400th Anniversary of the Half Moon's Voyage and the 200th
for the Clermont, as well as, the 100th Anniversary of the Hudson-Fulton
Celebration.
