The Amenia Times - Amenia, NY Saturday, Feb. 16, 1907
Mr. Ruben Rogesr, one of the old and respected citizens of this locality, died at his hime on Friday. Mr. Rogers was well known and was a factor in the history of the place for half a-century. The funeral was held Sunday and the body interred in Valley View Cemetery.

A "head on" occured in the Harlem just south of the village on Saturday. Only one passenger was seriously injured.
Mr. Jewett, who was injured in the wreck Saturday, died on Monday.

Obituary-Mrs. Julia A. Ives departed this life Feb. 8th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. M. Hunt, New Milford, Conn.
