Calli, Shirley Kaminsky
Shirley Kaminsky Calli, a housewife and lifelong resident of the area, died Sunday April 10, 2005, at Vassar Bros. Hospital, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She was 77.
The daughter of the late Samuel Kaminsky and Josephine Weiner, she was born April 16, 1927 in Newburgh, N.Y.
Shirley is survived by four sons: Joseph, Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Wisconsin, Stephen and wife, Gayle, of Milton, N.Y., John and wife, Donna, of Newburgh, and Doug and wife, Rachel, of Poughkeepsie; two sisters, Harriet Calli of Newburgh, and Joan Cornell and husband, Frank, of Louisiana; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Calli on January, 1987.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Tuesday April 12, 2005 at 10:30 AM with Pastor David Ballou officiating, with burial to follow.
At the request of the family, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements were made by The DiDonato Funeral Service, Inc., 1290 Rte. 9W, Marlboro, N.Y.
