Thank you for the information, Susan. I have some of it, but not all, and will certainly check out the Beekman Settlers. The Chaugham family was also the subject of a book written by Kenneth L. Feder, A VILLAGE OF OUTCASTS. It is primarily about the Chaugham family (also my ancestors) but not much was written about Reuben & Hannah. I believe the place on the mountain outside of Barkhamsted, called The Lighthouse Village, is now part of the CT State Park & is on the National Register of Historic Places.

I have much info (which I am glad to share) about Reuben & Hannah & their descendants, but not Reuben's ancestors, so that's where I'm going to focus for awhile. Again, thanks for pointing me in some new directions.
