Thanks for your informative response.
Yes, I would like copies of the death and marriage certificates that you have. Someday I may find a link to our Szudzinskis. Also, it may provide me with info that I might be able to use to locate where Julian and his wife Elizabeth Buechler were married. Although they lived most of their lives in NW Indiana I have not yet found a record there of their marriage. I will look next at Cook County. As I noted I have a strong suspicion that the Siudzinskis in Chicago probably knew the Szudzinskis in NW Indiana and our Szudzinskis might have first lived in South Chicago where so many immigrants from Poland (Prussia) and Germany lived. Incidentally, there is some evidence to indicate that our Julian (spelled Julius later on) was an officer in the Prussian Army before he emigrated to the US. Do you know of any way to check on who may have been in the Prussian Army?
One final question, have you run across any info about a priest named Bernard Szudzinski who was located at a Polish church in the area around 35th Street and Wood Street? I have the name of the church somewhere in my records but could not find it for inclusion in this note.
