Dolores, I'm interested in the comment you made in your message about Abraham Jewell and Sara Buckhout moving from Westchester, NY to Ontario, Canada. My gggrandfather, Henry Buckhout, was the son of John & Anna Buckhout, b. 1800 in NY (likely Dutchess County). He moved to Ontario about 1831 with a wife and two sons. He later married 4 more times and died aft. 1871.

That being said, I'm researching any Buckhout's who came to Canada and am interested in the information you might have about Abraham & Sara Jewell's move to Ontario.

I have them married Jan. 1, 1735 at Old Dutch Reformed Church in Sleepy Hollow. Four children (at least) baptised there:

Isaac 1739
Annie 1749
Sara 1753
Ezegeel (likely incorrect spelling) 1759
