The reply that I posted in 2004 to http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/FUB.2ACI/5177 has disappeared, so I am reposting. I descend from George Haviland BIRCH and Phebe Fairlie MITCHELL. George was born in Pawling in 1778; Phebe was born in Newburgh in 1782. Some time after they married, they moved to Schodack, Rensselaer Co. They are both buried in Rensselaer Co.
