James Smith b. in Scotland, founder of Smith Bros Cough Drops in Poughkeepsie. Who were his parents? What was his wife's name and where are James and his wife buried. Family lore says there is some connection between my mother's family and the Smiths. There are no Smiths in my family so the connection would have to be through James's wife.
