The Anthony Briggs survey would be a great thing to have--it would pinpoint the location of the burial ground. Are surveys recorded in Dutchess County Clerk's Office? This seems recent enough to still be there if they are.

This INDENTURE made the 27th day of April in the year one thousand nine hundred and nine BETWEEN Mary HAWLEY of the town of Pleasant Valley, County of Dutchess and State of New York, party of the first part and Eugene ALLEN of the town, County and State aforesaid party of the second part.



WITNESSETH that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500.00) lawful money of the United States paid by the said party of the second part does hereby grant and release unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever -

BEING the same premises which were conveyed to Judson HUSTED and Maude A. HUSTED by George N. BOWMAN and Olive A. BOWMAN his wife, by deed bearing date the 16th day of September 1887 and recorded in Dutchess Co. Clerk's office in Liber 232 of deeds at page 49;



Also EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the above described premises a right of way which was granted and conveyed by Judson HUSTED to the PO'KEEPSIE and CONN. RAILWAY COMPANY; which agreement for said right of way bears date the first day of November 1888;
