Hi,
The last time I looked for naturalization index cards in Buffalo (about 1
1/2 years ago), they were in the basement of Erie County Hall. Prepare to go
through a metal detector before they let you in, also.
I have also heard that some records have been moved in the last few months,
& unavailable to genealogists. I hope that these index cards aren't among
those records. Does anyone on the list know exactly what is no longer
available?

Hi Ed,
My Frank Smith I believe came to Buffalo around 1852. I'm hoping to find his
naturalization card while I'm here in Buffalo this week. I'm heading to the
courthouse tomorrow for that. I'm not sure where in England he came from.
If I find out where in England he's from I'll let you know.
Happy Hunting,
Betty
