You should! I have mine, both the paid-for-one and the obit that I
hope the newspaper will publish. They are both in a directory whose
icon is tombstone, with the title "If I should die before I wake..."

Perhaps a bit morbid, but I believe in preparedness. (Ex boy scout, you know.)

This way I know that the information is complete and correct. The
only thing left out is the date of death, and the date, time and
place of the funeral, if any. Who knows what some grandchild will
know, and what they will think is important. The paid for notice can
include things that are usually omitted, like the names of your
parents. Great boon to future researchers!
