I've "rescued" a group of four family photographs belonging to the GROSVENOR
Family of New York. The photographs included in the grouping are as
follows:

1.Frank GROSVENOR, taken at the Hotchkiss Studio in Norwich, NY,
1880's, boy about 6 years old

2.Mate GROSVENOR, taken at the H. H. Hill Studio in Hamilton, NY,
1893, woman in her 50's, note "wife of Eugene"

3.Eugene GROSVENOR, taken at the H. H. Hill Studio in Hamilton, NY,
1880's, man in his 30's or 40's

4.Unidentified Female, taken at the E. H. Stone Studio in Hamilton,
NY, 1904, girl in her teens, note "Xmas"

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information
regarding this family:

Frank Livingston GROSVENOR b. 15 Jul 1875 in Lebanon, NY to parents George
Griffin GROSVENOR (b. 27 Apr 1845 in Lebanon, NY) and Sarah C. MAKIN (b. 20
Dec 1849 in Monticello, NY). Frank married Helen ALLAN (b. 1876) on 1 Jun
1904 and together they had 2 children, Allan Livingston; and Nancy Mackin
GROSVENOR born in 1908 and 1921 in Hartford, CT. Frank was a medical doctor
and head of the medical dept for the Travelers Insurance Company until his
retirement in 1945. Frank died 14 Oct 1949 in Hartford, CT.

Eugene Franklin GROSVENOR b. 29 Apr 1848 in Lebanon, NY to parents Sydney
Algernon GROSVENOR (b. 24 Oct 1809 in Lebanon, NY) and Ellen Minerva WYLIE
(b. 16 Aug 1813 in Lebanon, NY). Eugene was one of four children born to
this couple including, Margerette E.; Eveline N.; Ellen A.; and Eugene.
Eugene married Mary Elizabeth DARROW (b. 1852 in West Eaton, NY) on 18 Jun
1873. Eugene died 16 Aug 1921.

1900 census of Erie County Hospital, NY:

Frank L. GROSVENOR, age 24, born Jul 1875, born NY, parents born NY, a
Physician

1900 census of Hamilton, NY:

Eugene F. GROSVENOR, age 52, born Apr 1848, married 26 years, born NY,
parents born NY
Mary E. GROSVENOR, wife, age 49, born Mar 1851, married 26 years, no
children, born NY, parents born NY, a Milliner Merchant

1910 census of Hamilton, NY:

Eugene F. GROSVENOR, age 61, married 36 years, born NY, parents born NY, a
Travelling Agent
Mary E. GROSVENOR, wife, age 59, married 36 years, no children, born NY,
parents born NY, Owns Dressmakers Shop

1910 census of Hartford, CT:

Frank L. GROSVENOR, age 34, married 5 years, born NY, parents born NY, a
Medical Doctor
Helen A. GROSVENOR, wife, age 33, married 5 years, 1 child/1 living, born
Canada, parents born Scotland/Canada
Allan L. GROSVENOR, son, age 1 year + 8 months, born CT
+ 1 Domestic/Housekeeper

1920 census of Binghamton State Hospital, NY:

Eugene F. GROSVENOR, age 71, born NY, parents born USA

1930 census of West Hartford, CT:

Frank L. GROSVENOR, age 54, married 27 years, born NY, parents born NY, an
Insurance Company Physician
Helen A. GROSVENOR, wife, age 53, married 27 years, born Canada, parents
born Scotland/Canada, to USA 1901
Allan L. GROSVENOR, son, age 21, born CT
Nancy M. GROSVENOR, dau, age 8, born CT
+ 1 maid/servant

I am hoping to locate someone from the GROSVENOR Family so that these
wonderful old photographs can be returned to their rightful place with
family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might
