Hello all,

First - some new items have been added this week - one of which focuses on
Gloversville ancestors - since I receive many inquiries as to glove
factories, and people from Gloversville, we' ve added an 1890 Business
Directory focusing just Gloversville/Kingsboro businesses. URL:

Also, Fulton County, in coordination with our neighbor, Martha Magill at
Herkimer/Montgomery GenWeb, are looking for volunteer typists! For those of
you who would like to contribute to the GenWeb project, but aren't really
sure how....here's your chance. In the past, so many of you have helped in
joint effort to post material to the GenWeb project - either by typing or
donating material, or both. So we once again, are calling upon you for
help.

We very much appreciate your time and efforts and there are a wide variety
of topics - cemeteries, historical books, military, etc., and the projects
all vary in length - depending on how much you like to type and how much
time you have - but some are a short as one.

If this message brings to your mind, documents or information which you have
acquired and would like to share on the site, these are also very much
welcome too!!!! These could be wills, old booklets or articles (pre 1925 if
copyrighted), military records, obituaries, old photos, etc. - whatever you
may have "lying around or tucked away in your files" - who knows, you just
might find some long lost relatives!!!
