Hi,
Ella Lair of Gloversville married Andrew Brookheiser of Stone Arabia on
December 30, 1885 at the home of Mr. Albert Sweet with Rev. Joseph B. Thyne
officiating. Reported in Fulton County Republican on Thurs, 7 Jan 1886.

I am looking for advice on which office to write to get a copy of this
marriage record. I don't actually know in which location the event occurred.
I am thinking of checking with Gloversville, first. Are records for city
of Gloversville kept separate from records for the town of Johnstown ? I am
wondering if I should write to the clerk for the city of Gloversville, or the
town clerk for Johnstown.
