The Brower cemetery on Toman Town Rd. is back in the woods. Could that be one of the 2 he was referring to? Also in Toman Town I saw two graves for Blowers, one is a young child. There may be other graves in the area. It is rumored that Fanny Toman (Tolman), Wendel's wife, was burried up in Jackson Summit toward Tomantown. Legend has it that she died in the winter and was burried in a pork barrel. A number of the Brower decendants of Jacob Brower from Jackson Summit are burried in area cemeterys and in the Mayfield Cemetery. The daughter of Wendel and Fanny, Paulina Toman, married Jacob Brower Jr. and is also in the Mayfield Cemetery.
