Does anyone know anything of a news paper called the Commercial
Advertiser - or the Columbian? Time period 1818 - reporting area near
the border of Greene and Schoharie - Albany the area near Broome NY

In the Genealogy Bank - found the following under mortuary notices.
Commercial Advertiser - New York 1818-05-28 Under article entitled
DIED among a list of people: At Broome, N.Y. Josiah Brown, Esq.
Same thing in a paper called Columbian, but it gave his age as 76.
This nearly fits the Josiah Brown mentioned in the Beaches Corner's
Cemetery - Jewett - it notes Josiah Brown 12 May 1818. Could the date
difference be due to the publication date? Mark Brown
