Germany. Charles (Carl) (LEONHARD) LENHART and Eliza (Louisa) UNKNOWN had

The 1880 census for Marshfield, Wood County, WI says indicates he was born
ca 1856 in New York and that his parents were born in Germany. It also says
he worked in a S. Mill.

He was married to Phoebe (Phoeba) BANKS (daughter of James Monroe BANKS Jr.
and Barbara KIMMEL) in 1875 in Clark County, Wisconsin, USA. Phoebe
(Phoeba) BANKS was born on September 12, 1856 in Pennsylvania, USA. Her
parents were born in England and Pennsylvania. She died before 1920 in
Wisconsin, USA. The 1880 Marshfield, Wood County, WI census indicates she
was born ca 1857 in PA and that her parents were born in PA. She may have
remarried to Unknown Morse. Henry F. LEONHARD (LENHART) and Phoebe (Phoeba)
