Surname: VICTORY, MCGRATH

Looking for the ancestors of Catherine Victory, particular- ly info about
her parents. Her father ran the "waterworks" a resevoir? which stood where
the main Brookly/Kings County Library now is. Her parents probably were
from Ireland but she was born in Brookln, NY about 1859. She married Peter
McGrath in the 1880s an they had 6-8 children: Lorreta (wed Ross Vosburg)
Catherine (Sr M Theobald SJ) Mary (wed Frank Curran) Dorothy (wed John
Zangler) Andrew, and Thomas (wed Gladys Flynn). Catherine died Jan. 1951
and is buried w her
husband in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY-Kings County.
