Date: Wed, 6 Mar 2002 09:00:43 -0700

Still looking for data on my g grandparents on 1910 Census of NYC or
Brooklyn, NY.

He was Tomejiro (aka Thomas) SHIMIZU. His wife was Marguerite D'ALLEINE.
He was Japanese came to US ca.1899.

They lived in NYC about 1910 having had a child Blanche SHIMIZU b. 29 June
1909 in NYC Ljing-In Hospital.

They were both servants in home of wealthy family upstate NY after first
coming to NYC area.
They married where they were doing this servant work in Mamaroneck NY 31 Jan
1905.
They had a son Edward Jiro born and died in 1906 and buried on the place
they worked.

Leaving servant work, they then lived briefly in Orange NJ and Philadelphin
PA before moving to NYC.

They are living at 4 Brevoort Pl Brooklyn by 12 Jan 1920 when second dtr
Rose SHIMIZU was born.

If you have access to 1910 or 1920 Census to lookup SHIMIZU, or even a birth
index for Blanche or Rose SHIMIZU, please can you help me.......

Happy Trails, Joan in rural MT
