When you request a search from the MA, you don't need an exact date, you get an entire year for $10.

10.00 Search of birth, death, or marriage record, in one year, and in one Borough, for one name and issuance of one certified copy, or "not found" statement;

$ 2.00 Per additional year to be searched in one Borough for the same name.
