thanks for the lookup. This has been a real mystery-and one of those family secrets. The relative I have been searching had a baby at Sloan Hospital in NYC and listed her address as 638 E 11. No luck in the NYC census at that NYC address. Since the family lived their entire lives in the Windsor Terrace area of Brooklyn I began searching there. The ED is elusive for E 11th, despite my mapping out the ED descriptions. I am beginning to wonder if the address was fiction for the birth record. Will ponder next move. Thanks for your time.
