I found my gggrandfather, Martin Herr Foulke, a Vet. Surgeon, listed at 58 Monroe Street, Brooklyn, NY in a directory mid 1800's. At this time, would it have been a residential or business neighborhood? Also found 2 of his daughters mentioned in the 1913 Brooklyn Citizen, Miss Alta L. Foulke and sister Miss Ida May Foulke of 817 Lincoln Place, would this address been a boarding house or private home? Lots of Foulke family buried at Green Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, trying to link them, anyone on this list willing to check Green Wood to check lot cards for me?
