I hate to sound like the computer technician whose first questioin is always, "Is the computer plugged in?", but
Do You Have a Subscription to Census Images? It is sold separately from the basic data subscription.

I assume the index entry you have came from "New York Census 1790-1890" If that's the case, the entry should have a county, a township and a page. Using the browse mode for the 1860 census, go to that county, if there are individual townships listed, go to that if not open the first page and scroll forward to the page you want.

What names and info are you working with, I'll see if I can help. I would rather show people how to do something than do it for them, but sometimes doing it is the easiest way to teach it.
