I am looking for more information about my great, great, great, great grandfather and mother. Henry Ohlrogge was born in Hanover, Germany in 1848. He appears in the 1880 Brooklyn census with wife Hester b.1854, and children John H. b.1873, Katie b. 1876, my great, great, great grandmother Nellie b.1878 along with her twin sister, Annie. (NOTE: If you look this upon the LDS website they misspelled the name, CHLROGGE.) I also found a birth certificate record for a Henry Ohlrogge born February 3, 1883 to Hester Kelly and Henry Ohlrogge in Brooklyn. I am trying to find out any other information about this family. I would like to know more about Henry Ohlrogge's parents. A fellow researcher has found a Heinrich Ohlrogge that came to NYC on August 2, 1864 at the age of 16 on the ship Reinhard with brother Louis Ohlrogge. The years and the name matches when translated , but I would really like to find proof if possible. I am also looking for any marriage or burial info for He!
