For anyone who may be interested:

"The Journal News" in Westchester County today featured an article on a
new book about Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx by Fred Goodman. The book
entitled, "The Secret City: Woodlan Cemetery and the Buried History of
New York" (Broadway, $26), per the article "combines history, memoir and
even fiction to reimagine the lives of some of the 300,000 famous and
forgotten who have made Woodlawn their final home."

As a means of promoting the book, the author will be conducting a free
tour of Woodlawn Cemetery this coming Sunday, August 8, 2004 at 5 pm.
