The 1930 census for Brooklyn (Enumeration District 1196, page 13B) gives the following information on the couple Paul and Ida Paulsen:
Paul Paulsen, head, 30, married at age 27, Norwegian; Wife Ida, 28, married at age 25, Italian. Address: 4701 7th Avenue.
How can I find Ida's maiden name?
Are anyone willing to help with this?
I found a few Paul Paulsen/Paulson in the NYC Grooms index to marriages at about 1927, but then I see that the application form to the NYC department for a search/copy of the marriage record also requires the bride's surname.
Living in Norway I therefore ask if there are anyone willing to do a lookup for me to see if they married in NY (Brooklyn?). I have found Paul (Inge) Paulsen at Ellis Island in 1921, but I don't know exactly when he settled in Brooklyn. Or where the couple married.
