Why not get the death index films from FHL covering Brooklyn and begin the slow process of finding them. The index should give you the certificate number and you can then order on line and maybe have them in 3-4 weeks. I just did this for great Aunt, who all I knew died in Brooklyn after 1930. Some films cover more than 1 year.
You may also look at some of the Brooklyn directories to see when still living, to narrow down the time period.
The DC will show the cemetery.
