I am looking for George Felix Begnal (b. 15 Feb 1879, Albany, NY) in city directories for the years of 1905-1916 Only.

Some have already tried to find him in the Brooklyn City Directories without any luck. The 1904 Saratoga Springs City Directories has him removed to Brooklyn.

He lived in Albany up until moving to Saratoga Springs about 1901. Others have tried to locate him in Albany City Directories as well without any luck. Does someone have access to Queens, Bronx or any suggestions?

Here is what I do know and have....I have city directories for him in Albany and Saratoga Springs. He has not been found in the Albany or Brooklyn city directories for this period 1905-1916. In the 1905 Saratoga Springs city directory listed is his wife Edith M. (Mitchell) Begnal.

In the 1904 Saratoga Springs city directory he is removed to Brooklyn and reappears in 1917, Saratoga Springs.

I cannot find him in the 1910 census either, many have tried besides me. I do have him in the 1880, 1900, 1920 and 1930 census. I have the census for 1910 of his father and siblings, George is not listed with them.

In the 1909 Saratoga Springs city directory Edith is back with her family as Edith M. Mitchell. And in the 1910 census for Edith, she is Edith M. Irish, boarder, Saratoga Springs and no George.

I am up againt the proverbial block wall, any help is appreciated, Doc
