Your best bet may be with the Brooklyn Daily Eagle which is available on microfilm. Go to www.bklyn-genealogy-info.com and click on the NEWSPAPERS links. Nearly at the bottom of the newspapers page is a listing of various Brooklyn and Brooklyn-area papers with dates and locations. You want the "New York State Newspaper Project" link. This tells you which papers, available on microfilm, are available through interlibrary loan. Thus, you may be able to get a copy of the film through your local library.
