Hello Katie,

The Town of Dover in Dutchess County should have local civil registration records. The Town Clerk's Office should be able to help finding information about the Cronkkites. You might first want to see if they're still listed in the 1870 census in Dover to get an idea of the time period when they might have died.

The Town Historian might also be able to help regarding any local cemeteries where they may have been buried or local cemetery transcriptions.
