Ok, slightly off topic, but not really...

I know we usually deal with our deceased relatives and finding marriage
certs, but I have a live one people! he he

My friend was married in Italy in 1964. She knows the exact date and place
of marrige (Naples), but does not have a copy of her marriage certficate
which she now needs to be eligible for her x-husband's pension.

Has anyone written away to Italy for a copy of a marriage certificate and if
you have, how do I go about doing so. Obviously my friend speaks Italian,
so if we need to place a phone call instead of a letter, that would be no
problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
