The ITALIAN GENEALOGICAL GROUP will hold it's next meeting on Saturday, November 11th, at the Bethpage Library, Powells Ave., Bethpage, N.Y. Meetings begin promptly at 10:30am.
The speaker is Joanne R. Heffernan who will offer an in-depth presentation, "The Road to Beginning Your Genalogical Research", which focuses on deciphering vital records and related research materials. This presentation is designed so the researcher gains the most from what is available in the local area so as to be well proapared before taking his search abroad.
The IGG meets on the second Saturday of every month except in December, July and August. For a modest annual dues, members network with the pros; attend meetings having frequent lecturers; partake of help, beginners', computer, and translation services; have use of our private library; receive ten issues of our newsletter plus a new member's packet; and interact with our helpful membership.
