In 1884 Henry and Henrietta Owens emigrated to New York from Aberdare in South Wales together with their five children Agnes (1875),Margaret (1877)Ralph (1880), Gertude (1881), Florence(1883). Four further children were born in New york Mabel(1885), Nellie(1888), Ethel(1890) and Frank (1890).
Despite searching the various census available I seem only able to trace Henry and Henrietta and three daughters with any certainty.
The census enumerator confuses the issue by constantly referring to some of their places of birth as England when it should have been Wales.
If any of the above rings any bells with anyone on the list I would be grateful for any help or connections.
