Hello!!!
I am the grandaughter of Veronica Frances Ryan! :) Sadie and Walter Henry were my greatgrandparents. I am a girl named Ryan. People ask why my name is Ryan, and I tell them it is a family name. :) My mother is Noreen Ann Ikonen, and my uncle is Paul Dennis Ikonen. They are the two children of Veronica.
My Nana passed away on August 4, 2003. She went by the name Ronnie and lived in Bronx, New York until about 1999, when she moved the Florida. She never knew too much about her family. She always said Sadie and Walter Henry were from Mass, but they did not talk much about the rest of the family. She said she had no memory of meeting anyone in the family. She said Walter Henry had a twin brother, I think. Nana always said Walter Henry worked on the railroads.
Yes, Sadie's mother, Selina, was from England. Nana used to have a birth certificate for Selina, but I do not know what ever happened to it. The last and only time I saw it was when I was about 7. I am almost 30 now. If I remember right, Selina's maiden name was Dunn, but my memory is a little shaky on that.
