Thanks for the look-up. I've seen the Green-Wood Cemetary website and sent for the internment list for the lot the Soullards are in. It appears to be the family plot for the descendents of William Walker. The ownership of the plot passed down the Soullard family line about 1935.

My interest in the 1865 city directory is to find the address of Rachel Walker, widow of William Walker. In the 1870 census, she was living with the Soullards in Brooklyn. Since the 1865 NY census asked persons born in New York which county they were born in, Rachel Walker's census record would be invaluable in tracing the family's origins.
