OK lets see now, the person posted to a Brooklun board so they are not refering to NY State as the article was in the Brooklyn Standard. . You asked if I had a contribution to make after you posted
im almost sure the years 1911 to 1930 are unavailable both on the IGG and the JGW i encountered the same problem had to write to vital records

You state abv records for NYC (assumption on my part) are unavailable. That is not the case. You then said

Did that resolve your same problem ??
And since NY State only has records for outside of NYC what results did yiou obtain. My contribution thus depends on your answer given the posted is probably dealing with NYC. Did or did you not get resilts from vital records. G.
